Timelapse night photography of the Leonid Meteor shower over Joshua Tree National Park. Shot between 12:30am and 5:00am on the morning of November 18, 2010.
Due to the brightness of the moon, it was difficult to see the showers until after it set, which was around 3:30am.
You’ll see a few meteors in the video: 0:06, 0:13, 0:14, 0:17, 0:29, 0:30.
There’s 2 meteors in the same frame at 0:29.
You’ll also notice the planet Venus rising over the horizon.
Enjoy!

How are you keeping the correct exposure when transitioning from daylight to night? Are you doing this in post?
Thanks, these are great!
Ryan
That’s not day. It’s the moon light. 🙂
